Here is a example of a question and answer: Student: Irish: When do I use "urú" and when do I use a "h" in the past tense?
TY student: In the past tense: Use a "h".(e.g.Chaith). With any word begning with a vowel you put a "d' " before it.(e.g.D'ól). You also put "d' " before any words beginning with "f". (e.g.D'fhág). After the words "Níor" and "Ar" use "h". NB: The above rules apply to regular verbs only. |
